Alex Walsh

Trial Attorney | Walsh Law, PLLC

Alexandra Walsh is the founder of Walsh Law, a trial firm based in Washington D.C. that is dedicated to representing individuals and families against corporate tortfeasors.

Alex was recently appointed to the Leadership of the Plaintiffs Steering Committee in In re: Social Media Adolescent Addiction/Personal Injury Products Liability Litigation (MDL No. 3047). This newly formed MDL seeks to hold Meta, TikTok, SnapChat, and YouTube liable for the widespread harms their social media products have inflicted on today’s youth.  Alex also represents the families of children injured by defective preterm infant formula as well as other products corporate manufacturers knew, or should have known, interfere with and harm normal childhood development.

Alex formed Walsh Law after nearly two decades representing corporate defendants, including at Paul, Weiss and, most recently, Wilkinson Walsh, a firm she co-founded in 2016.  Asked about her move to the Plaintiffs’ bar, Alex recently told Bloomberg Law, “I never planned on being a corporate defense lawyer for my entire career. I wanted at some point to do something that involves the causes I care about and helps people in a more direct way.  I am so gratified finally to be doing this important work.”

Alex graduated from Bowdoin College and Stanford Law School.  Prior to beginning her law practice, she clerked for then-Judge Merrick Garland of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and Justice Stephen Breyer of the U.S. Supreme Court.
